8 IN / 8 OUT 4K HDMI/HDBASET MATRIX SWITCHER
The Absolute Acoustics® NDS-UHM88 is a HDMI/HDBaseT™ matrix switcher with 8 inputs and 8 outputs capable of transmitting audio and video, control signals and electrical power supply for distances up to 328 ft (100m) over a single twisted-pair cable. Its unique hybrid architecture combines 8 HDMI inputs, 2 HDMI outputs and 6 HDBaseT™ outputs in a compact 2U chassis, and provides advanced features for HDMI signal distribution, such as native support for UHD/4K resolutions, high definition audio formats and compliance with HDCP 2.2 copy protection standard. Each output port features HDMI audio breakout, for direct connection with audio systems, and IR/RS-232 extension ports to remote zone receivers. UHM88 can be controlled manually through buttons on its front panel, or remotely by sending IR or RS232 codes. When connected to an Ethernet network it can also be controlled over Telnet protocol, or through its web interface - which also works as a easy way to perform all settings.
UHD / 4K Enabled
Compatible with new ultra high-definition sources and displays, sending signals with resolutions up to 2160p@30 4:4:4 or 2160p@60 4:2:0.
Frontal Display & Buttons
A set of buttons and a LCD display allows quick access to device status, settings, and switching operations, as also works as a secondary control interface.
HDCP 2.2 Compliant
Fully licensed and compliant with HDCP 2.2, allowing the transmission of ultra high-definition signals directly from the source.
Instant report the current state of the system whenever it is updated, allowing triggering events in external devices.
HDMI Audio De-embedding
De-embedding of the digital audio contained in the HDMI signal to analog connections, allowing direct integration to amplifiers and multi-room audio systems.
Sending of commands in the HDMI-CEC standard for system displays control without the need of additional hardware.
Sending commands in the RS232 standard for devices connected to the matrix, optimizing the use of control ports.
One HDBaseT™ output ports compatible with both 230ft (70m) and 328ft (100m) receivers, flexibilizing the installation.
Sending of electrical power to the receivers via HDBaseT™ link, eliminating the need for local power supplies.
A whole new web interface allows easy access to device's status, configuration and switching operations, while also serves as system remote.
FULL SYSTEM CONCEPT
Our products are designed to look elegant and professional in every detail. We are all about less is more. Check this example with a video matrix (optional MCP-1 installed), multi-room controller and an extra amp for that power hungry zone.
Got the idea?
Optional Magnetic Cover Panel
The optional solid aluminum MCP cosmetic cover panel is available for better system presentation, hiding buttons, LCD display and any light that would be annoying in some situations (available in 1U and 2U sizes).
Web GUI Screenshots
Simple yet powerful, our Web GUI is all you need to quickly make your system up and running.
HOME – you can check model name, IP address and firmware version.
SWITCHING – you can perform direct switching actions, as well as save and recall in/out presets.
NETWORK – let you define overall network parameters.
PROTECTION – you can adjust Front Panel behavior, such as LCD display lighting and buttons lock, and also update the login passwords for Web GUI.
INPUTS – you can customize the port names and perform EDID settings, as have some information about source devices connectivity.
OUTPUT – will also let you customize port names and give you outputs status, including each port signal resolution.
And if it was not enough, you can save all this functionality at your device’s Home Screen, turning the Web GUI into a nice “always there” remote.
